Of course, a trip to Malaysia would be incomplete without visiting the famous Petronas Towers; currently the tallest twin towers in the world.

After the long queue, people are escorted to the viewing deck wherein everyone is given a few minutes to sight-see and camwhore.
It’s not everyday that you catch me on an all time high, so excuse the cheesy power pop band and the saccharine lyrics. I’m only happy when it rains.

It’s the first day of June and I find it rather fitting to launch my yet unnamed column (I’m blaming the weather for this).

Now I know what they meant when they went on with that ad campaign “Malaysia: Truly Asia”. The country’s capital in itself is a hub for a hodge podge of Asian races: Malays, Indians, Chinese, Thais, Arabs, and even Filipinos.
And sadly I was not informed that people there dressed conservatively despite the tropical weather. I ended up having to edit my entire wardrobe.
Malaysia has its origins in the Malay Kingdoms present in the area which, from the 18th century, became subject to the Brits which explains this among others.
Of course it wouldn’t be very me without the street photos, yes? Photo vomit about to commence.
